About Pyramid Solitaire Saga

Pyramid Solitaire Saga is a game available on Facebook where you need to clear all the scarab cards off the table. These can be identified by the gold frame around them. The scarab cards are usually blocked by other cards, that must be removed by matching the cards on the table with the deck card.

A card can be matched with the deck card if it has a value that is one higher or one lower. The values wrap, so an ace card can be matched with both a king and a 2. The color of the card does not matter.

Scoring

Clearing a card from the table starts off by giving 100 points, for each successive card in the same series, you get 50 more points. So if you do a 3 card series, you get 100 points for the first, 150 points for the second card, and 200 points for third, giving a total of 450 points.

Clicking a card that does not match with the current deck card causes you to lose 20 points. After clearing the scarab cards you’ll get 300 points for each card you save on the table and in your deck. For each card in your longest series of the round you get 200 points.

Crafting

So what can you do with all those lovely jewels you have collected? Craft powerful boosters! Boosers are helpers that you can take into the game that give you e.g. more cards in the deck, an extra joker, more time on timed levels, or a multiplier that helps you get those impressive scores.

When can you craft? When you have enough of the jewels needed for that specific recipe. Read up on collecting jewels in that part of this guide.

If you do not have the needed jewels to craft the booster you will be instead presented the option of buying these boosters. Don’t want to pay? Just go back and clear earlier levels to get the mission jewels!

Jewels

Yellow: Obtained by clicking the scarabs with a yellow jewel on their back.

Green: Obtained by clicking the scarabs with a green jewel on their back.

Blue: Obtained by clicking the scarabs with a blue jewel on their back.

Purple: Obtained by clearing 10 cards in a sequence without flipping the deck.

Red: If you’re lucky a red jewel falls from the sky onto the map when a level is completed.

Diamond: Acquired when clearing 15 cards in a sequence without flipping the deck.

Boosters

Boosters are powerful ingame items that you can bring into the game by either crafting or purchasing them. These have the intention of helping you pass that oh so difficult level that you just can’t get past. They can also be there to help you increase your score. Especially if you have that dreaded friend that always beats your score and you want to show them a thing or two. To unlock all boosters keep playing the game, they are unlocked as you are progressing! When you bring your boosters in to the game, one is used up for each round. So make sure you have at least 2 boosters if you want to get help on each round of a double round level!
